Charlotte, NC has been my home since 1987 and I’ve seen up close how it has changed.  When I came to Charlotte I found it teeming with vitality and a culture that was inviting and solidly built on the needs of all of its residents.  I saw many of those people  who were its foundation and starting point, being systematically priced out of homeownership.  And it all started with the decisions of the City Council.

In today’s political environment I’ve noticed that lawlessness is pervasive and tolerated, and that makes Charlotte less safe.  And  the need for transparency and working with our law enforcement departments is crucial in “Making Charlotte Great Again”.

It won’t happen overnight,  but by making sound, reasonable and community centered decisions,  I will be a voice at City Council who will be the strongest and most consistent in representing our city and neighborhoods in “Making Charlotte Great Again” - "MACHAGA!
